This 1937 Indian Scout is an exceptional pre war American motorcycle history, with character, craftsmanship, and unmistakable style that made Indian legendary. Leaf spring front end rigid chassis and period correct Indian components that make these machines so desirable to collectors.

The numbers and castings have been photographed and documented for serious collectors and Indian enthusiasts to examine.
Pre-war Indians are increasingly difficult to find, and surviving examples of this kind and character don't come along very often.
Offered for sale on consignment from the estate of the late owner, with authorization from the owners surviving sister.
Purchase in 1974 by the previous owner on a bill of sale and available to new owner. The bike was in pieces but appeared to have been original. Assembled and ridden for years in the orange paint that it was purchased in, and then at some point re-done in the traditional Indian red.
I have over 50 pics total available upon request. Over 5 decades with one owner-that's the kind of provenance you don't get with many pre-war motorcycles.
