Luke 6:28
Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

As I study this verse this morning I can’t help but think of all the times I let the hate in my heart keep me from praying for someone who honestly probably needed it. I thought they wronged me so why would I pray for them? Well as I’ve grown I’ve learned we never really know what’s going on in other peoples life and those times when they mistreated me I couldn’t tell you if their dog or grandma had died that day. And applying that simple thought allows me enough pause to stop and ask God to be with them. Simple as “lord please put your hand on this person and soften their heart and ease their pain and worry.” That allows me enough time for my frustration with their actions to subside and me to keep my head level and respond accordingly. Have a blessed day!
