This lists the general business guidelines of operation for Jammin Mechanics and its sub-contractors. Jammin Mechanics is a automotive maintenance contracting company (though not limited to automotive only). It's purpose is to provide professional automotive, equipment mechanical/electrical maintena

nce, and engineering services to it's clients. Jammin Mechanics currently services the Northern Va, North/Eastern W.Va, Southern Md, and Western D.C. area(s)
US and Asian vehicle rates: $35 hr
(Vehicles included are [but not limited to] GMC, Chrysler, Ford, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Kia,)
European vehicle rate: $45 hr
(Vehicles included are [but not limited to] Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW)
Equipment Rate: Rates vary by services needed, and are ultimately determined by the servicing technician
Payment methods: Jammin Mechanics can take cash, check, or most any credit card*
Service Fee
A mobile service fee may apply to the total service bill. The distance the servicing technician is required to travel to the location of said service. The severity or the service required. (example #1: whether a light duty service vehicle is required, or a heavy duty service vehicle is required.) Emergency service rates vary by vehicle, date, distance, and severity of the issue involved (example #1)

Normal Hours of Operation:
8:00am-5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
And Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm. All business calls placed before or after the given times (and during times when no one is available to take calls) may be forwarded to a professional answering service on Jammin Mechanics behalf. The said service will process the call, taking down the information from the caller, and contact Jammin Mechanics via its preferred method. If and/or a technician is available, the caller will be contacted by said technician and/or the head technician for further information and service scheduling. Emergency services:
Jammin Mechanics provides emergency services for vehicles under certain conditions. These services are available at all times during Normal Hours of Operation, and during the Emergency Service Time Frames. Emergency Service Time Frames:
6:00am-8:00am and 5:00pm-10:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Saturday 6:00am-10:00am and 3:00pm-8:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm

Warranty:
Jammin Mechanics does NOT offer a guarantee for any parts, installed or otherwise. Most parts are warranted through the part manufacturers. Contact a Jammin Mechanics technician or representative for more info. Jammin Mechanics has a 5 (five) day, 100 (one hundred) mile Labor Warranty** for most (not all) of its service labor on automotives and equipment.

Another engine rebuild/recondition completed! This engine, an inline 5 cylinder, was quite the project. Availability on these GMC 3.7L engines is extremely low, and extremely expensive. Remanufactured I5's cost upwards of $5k, with even non-running or high mileage cores exceeding $2-3k 🤯

Working on an interesting little project for an off-roading Jeep. Instead of a lead-acid battery, as is common in most vehicles, this Jeep will have a Super-Capacitor battery. Once completed, this battery will essentially last forever as it doesn't degrade like typical batteries. There's a lot of pros and cons between this type of system and a standard lead-acid system, but one of the pros for this is the insane cranking amps. Lead-acid batteries typically have 600-850 CCA (cold cranking amps) whereas these super capacitors have around 3000 CCA 🤯
