To the everyday person, these were just rock chips. Never have I seen this. Water was getting trapped between the the sound deadening material and door skin and started to rust. Maybe just a poor door handle gasket design, not sure. Video in the comments of the water squirming out of the door skin. We ground it out, treated, and sealed it back up. Cross your fingers.

Outta Town Garage will be closed today. Don't forget our new shop # is 218-712-4842. We finished up this Ram in time for the weekend. Yep, another deer hit. All new front end between the fenders, fan assembly forward, new hood. We also fixed a couple door dings while we were at.

Where are all the deer? You tell me. Here we had another vehicle we did an initial estimate on when it came in and submitted it. Simple fix. 3rd party Insurance contacts the owner and requests photos from the customer and pulls the same old tricks. Check cut to the customer for less, short on parts needing replaced and aftermarket only. We wanted this job in and out the same day, so thankfully when the customer dropped off the truck, Nelson Dodge had the lights and lower radiator deflector on hand. I wasnt going to glue the lights back together as the driver side had taken on moisture since our intial visit. I took a cruise in the 60 and grabbed what we needed. Now we supplement the additional parts after spending shop money and wait to get paid. Happens quite a bit.
