Dale’s Auto Body in Stayton is looking for a full time office person / estimator.
Hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, with an hour for lunch.

We prefer someone with automotive experience but are willing to train the right person if they have the qualities referenced below.

Some days you will be in the office, other days you may be in the shop. There is a wide variety of duties and they can change daily depending on our customer’s needs.

We are a small shop, so being a team player is absolutely necessary.
Pay will be based on experience.
Requirements:
18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to follow instructions

Computer Literate
Can type and use a 10 Key
Pass a background check

Good Morning Everyone,
Want to update you on the post I shared regarding State Farm declining to pay repair facilities to sanitize vehicles due to COVD-19. This morning I received notice that State Farm changed their stand on this and are now paying repair facilities to sanitize vehicles.

Thank you State Farm for doing the right thing.

Received a call from State Farm regarding a vehicle we are going to repair. Stated they will not pay to disinfect the vehicle because the virus is not their fault and it is not accident related. Please, Please, Please, make sure your vehicle is disinfected when it is in for repairs. Any quality repair facility will be doing this. Shame on State Farm!

Good Morning!

Reaching out to let everyone know that Dale’s Auto Body is here for you during this difficult time.

If your vehicle needs repaired due to an accident, pull up in front of our business and we will come out to you. To limit the spread of COVID-19, we request that you remain in your vehicle. We want us all to stay healthy.

We are offering mobile estimating to our senior customers.

Unfortunately, due to the social distancing requirement, we will not be able to give customers shuttle rides

However, we are able to pick up your vehicle and deliver it back to you when the repairs are completed. All vehicles will be wiped down with disinfecting wipes before the vehicle is returned to you. You also have the option to have your vehicle towed into us.

If you are financially being affected by the Corona Virus, please let us know. We will do our best to work out a payment plan for your insurance deductible.

We have great working relationships with all insurance companies. Once you obtain a claim number, we can take care of everything regarding your vehicle repairs with the insurance company.

Our normal operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. We also have additional hours, including evenings and weekends, available by appointment. Dale Eugene Rubel

August 26, 1938 - December 11, 2017

SUBLIMITY – Dale, 79, passed away at his home in Sublimity on December 11, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 26, 1938 in Benton, WI to Harold and Nancy Rubel while his parents were visiting from South Dakota. He lived in South Dakota until he was 4 years old, when his parents decided to make the journey west and settled in Stayton. Dale graduated from Stayton Union High School in 1956. On July 11, 1959, Dale married Kathleen Rak. Together, they had four children, two girls and two boys. He held various jobs, including working in a lumber mill; running a gas station while doing autobody work in his garage, and finally establishing his own autobody shop in Stayton in 1971. Dale and his wife ran the family business until 1999 when they sold it to their two sons to carry on family business. When he was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and trap shooting. Most weekends were enjoyed in the great outdoors with family and friends. In his later years, he developed an interest in wood-working. He was also a member of the fraternal order of Elks and Moose. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Kathleen and his four children, Peggy (Al Dominguez) Rubel, Kevin (Connie) Rubel, Carol (Murco) Sessler Ringnaldo, and Alan (Lisa) Rubel; 6 grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna Mae Pikl and Donita Zwolak. Dale was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Donald Rubel.

Family members are invited to the North Santiam Funeral Service, 224 N Third Ave, Stayton at 11:00 AM for a brief formal service bidding Dale good-bye on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Family, friends and others whose lives Dale touched are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Stayton Moose Lodge, 352 E Florence St, Stayton at 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 to reminisce, grieve, laugh and generally celebrate the life of Dale. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dale’s name to the Willamette Valley Hospice in Salem, in thanks for their assistance in guiding the family through this process. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.

All of us at Dale's Auto Body are sending our heart felt condolences and prayers of comfort to the entire Rubel Family. The head of the family, Dale Rubel passed away Monday surrounded by his loving family. Dale Rubel is the person who founded this company and we would not be here if it wasn't for Dale. The Rubel family lost a good man and the community of Stayton lost a long time community member. May you all experience comfort and peace at this difficult time.
