Chilly outside? Check!
Blanket for Gertie? Check!
Two A/C machines? Double check!

With our existing R-134a machine and our new 1234YF equipment, we can now service both major automotive refrigerant types and accommodate A/C systems across all types of vehicles 🚗❄️

We know A/C might not be at the top of your list in October, but a malfunctioning A/C system can also mean a malfunctioning defroster, and that’s something you definitely want working when cold weather arrives.

Call 540-490-4483 to schedule!

“Wait… how old is Grady? How is he already a Senior Master Technician?”

We get these questions more often than you might think!

The truth is, Grady has been around cars for most of his life. Professionally, he has spent the last 17 years working in the automotive industry, with experience ranging from parts and service writing to dealership work and, of course, turning wrenches as a technician.

But his story with cars started long before any of that.

It started at home, with his dad, Steve.

From a young age, Grady could be found alongside his dad, working on cars, restoring classics, and learning what it meant to take pride in your work. Steve passed down more than just a love for the classics. He passed down a work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the belief that you should always do something right, even when nobody is watching.

Those lessons have followed Grady throughout his entire career and have played a huge part in building the technician and business owner he is today.

Last week we went back to the '70s 🕺 Well, this week we are going back to the '60s!

What could be better than a '65 and '69 GTO in the shop at the same time? We'll let you be "the judge" 😏

Shoutout to our friends and Middlebrook Ave neighbors at Old School Customs Inc. for referring and trusting us with their clients' vehicles. If you or someone you know has a classic vehicle in need of restoration, check them out! Sam, Emily and their team are wonderful to work with, truly care about their clients, and know how to get the job done right!

This time last September, we spent every evening and weekend preparing our space and building our business... all while working our full-time jobs.

There were long days, big decisions and plenty of uncertainty. Starting something of our own was scary, but looking back, we wouldn't change a thing.

Every late night, sacrifice, and leap of faith was worth it. We would have missed out on so many memories together and the wonderful people we've met here.

To everyone who has trusted us with their vehicle and welcomed Grady’s Automotive into the Staunton community, we thank you. You've made this so much more than a business ❤️
