Great results and great times at the NASA march to grid at VIR with the NASA southeast and NASA mid-Atlantic regions. Having the largest Spec Miata field in a long time of over 20 drivers racing, it provided fun gatherings and great racing! Congratulations to Charles Dylan Mactutus from starting 14th and moving through the field to finish in first place in the Saturday feature race! A big congratulations to all the drivers Saturday for a fun and fantastic race! Can’t wait to come back to the next NASA event and do it again!

A BIG congratulations to Bobby Gossett for his first Mazda MX-5 cup win at St. Petersburg! As well as a congratulations to Salty Dog Racing and BSI Racing for a great start to the 2026 season! For us at Rossini Racing it has been an honor to be a part of the Salty Dog Racing Program and watch Bobby grow as a driver in Spec Miata and in IMSA. We can’t wait to see what results Bobby and Ellie will bring in the future, we are proud of them both, congratulations again on a great first race of the weekend!

We’d like to highlight some Rossini Racing powered drivers in the NASA southeast that made a clean sweep of the podium places on all races for the weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park. Some amazing racing from Augustin Garcia Flores, Javier Laurnaga, Keith Williamson, and Julian Pollard. With Augustin getting two wins and a 2nd place, Javier getting one win and two 2nd places, and Julian getting two 3rd place finishes, and Keith getting one 3rd place finish and two 4th place finishes. Congratulations to all of the drivers and what an awesome weekend!

What an amazing weekend at the ARRC! We were honored in having the opportunity to assist the Pombos for their father’s memorial race weekend. Friday’s qualifying Bobby Gossett and Chuck Mactutus qualified 3rd and 4th respectively and Mathew and Mark Pombo and long time friend Derek Jones qualified 11th, 12th, and 13th respectively. Charles Mactutus finished 2nd and Mathew Pombo made a huge charge to an epic finish on the podium in 3rd for his father’s memorial race!
On Saturday’s race it was great to see Danny Steyn and his wife Kim waving the green flag for the race! During that race the pressure was on and Mathew Pombo came out on top with the win and being awarded the Danny Steyn award for best sportsmanship! Michael Carter had an amazing race and finished 3rd place, while also being awarded the Jim Drago award for the best prepped car!
An all around amazing weekend and a great way to wrap up the year. It was great seeing everyone there, and we hope to see you all at future events next year!

Now that the updated 2025 SCCA runoffs results are in, we want to highlight Jonathan Davis in the number 16 SM representing Rossini Racing Products at Road America last week. Who had an amazing race starting from 23rd to finish in the top 10 as another hard charger through the pack! Congratulations Davis on a great race!

The Highs and Lows of the SCCA Runoffs for Rossini Racing
Bobby Gossett was fastest in qualifying with Dylan MacTutus (“Chuck”) second fastest, but due to an on track incident Bobby lost his time from the first day giving Chuck the pole position. Bobby regained a fast time on Friday to get him starting 8th, and with no one going faster Friday, Chuck maintained Pole position for the race and received the Pole position award!

During the race Bobby Gossett went from 8th to the lead pack and fought hard to a 5th place finish in the race. Ellie Gossett had an amazing debut SCCA Runoffs race starting 28th and fighting to 17th as the hard charger of the race!
Unfortunately Chuck MacTutus suffered from electrical issues at the beginning of the race and could not continue.
We came into the race with what we felt were the fastest cars and the fastest drivers but we unfortunately could not get the win this time.

A big congratulations to the top 3 drivers: Nicholas Bruni on the Runoffs championship win, Francisco Barroso for his 2nd place finish, and Kyle Greenhill for his 3rd place finish! As well as a Congratulations to all of the championship winners of the weekend!

What an amazing weekend for the Rossini Racing Products family at the 2025 SCCA SARRC Invitational Challenge at Daytona International Speedway! With wins, podiums, and great racing throughout the different classes.

Congratulations to all of the drivers this past weekend who use our products for your outstanding race performances. It was great seeing you all at the track and we hope you all had as much fun as we did. We thank you for your support for Rossini Racing Products and we hope to continue to help you achieve your racing goals and dreams!

In Spec Miata, an absolutely incredible weekend for Bobby Gossett and Charles MacTutus. With Bobby and Charles both leading the point standings coming into the weekend it was an exciting finish to the SARRC season. Saturday’s race gave us a nail biter finish with Bobby Gossett winning the race by 0.002 seconds ahead of Charles Mactutus. Sunday’s championship race was a tough battle and another incredibly close race with Bobby Gossett winning the championship race ahead of Charles Mactutus by 0.001 seconds! It can’t get any closer racing than that! Great respectful racing between the both of them, and congratulations to Bobby Gossett for winning the SARRC SM regional championship!

In ITA Alec King was leading in point standings coming into the weekend and had an amazing Sunday championship race battling for the win at every corner down to the very last lap with a 1st place finish winning the SARRC ITA regional championship! Congratulations to Alec King on his first SARRC championship title!

Thank you to the SARRC region organizers for the great event and for the corner workers and support staff for keeping the drivers safe making the event happen! Also thank you again to all of our customers for supporting us, and we hope to see you at our shop, at your next race later this year or for races in 2026 and beyond for all your Miata racing needs!
