Carl 'MailMan' Maree Carl Maree is V8 Renegade dirt track driver out of Stanley, NC. Racing is in my blood. After winning the first race I entered, the journey began.

From the young age of 5 years old when I got on my first yard kart, I knew that I was going to have to fulfill this hunger every chance I could. From there, Pops and I took a leap into go kart racing in Lincoln County at age 12. I am now 29 years old and over the past 4 years I've continued my passion for racing by enjoying weekend go kart races with the family, neighbors and a few other dirt trac

k drivers. This re-kindled the flame that I've always carried in me for racing. And I longed for more...
Hoping to follow in my father's (Buddy Maree) footsteps into the dirt track world, we came across two great cars. This has become the exciting start into my racing career. Pop is an excellent mechanic and raced for the better part of his 30's and 40's in the Late Model Division. His success has driven me to be the best driver I can be. Pop also spent many years helping out his friends in lower 4 and 6-cylinder classes. With Pop's past experience and my eagerness to be on the dirt track, we will find our way to the front. Excited for my first season in the V8 Renegade class, our Monte Carlo SS is ready to hit the track. It's always been a dream of mine to one day drive a #2 car. Growing up attending dirt track races every weekend and hearing my Pop's stories about his time on the dirt track, I'm eager to put the #2 car back out there. I'm enjoying this ride and have to pinch myself sometimes. We had a great first practice on March 21st and from what other experienced techs and drivers said, we have a car that can compete with the top 5 cars in a class of 22-24 drivers. Not a bad thing to hear after your first time on the track. We will be participating at East Lincoln Speedway, occasionally Carolina, Friendship and Cherokee as the year progresses. As a first year race team we would appreciate any support. As the driver, not only can I be a huge asset on the track but also a spokesperson for your business. We are looking to build our #2 Team with you and your support. Along with my full time job as the Territory Manager for Wurth USA, I look forward to helping promote you and your business with integrity. Success is only accomplished by the support of others. Excited to kick this season off back in Renegades East Lincoln Motor Speedway East Lincoln Speedway: Pit Road Talk . Hopefully Elmo here puts on a good show. Thanks to Brandon White Drew Evans Dad Buddy Maree Bradley Bryant Becky Maree Nick Harmon Jason Burleson James Davis for helping us get the car ready all winter, I didn’t get much sleep last night for being thankful for this opportunity to be out there having the time of my life!! We’ve had some fun shop nights, now it’s time to see what we can do!
