Another squarebody Chevy project coming to the final stages of this frame off restoration. This one is a custom formula candy blue, all PPG bottom to top. Hundreds of hours alone went into this one to get all the replacement aftermarket panels to fit perfectly. We had to cut, weld and shave almost ever edge to get all the gaps consistent throughout.
All visible body panel hardware was replaced with new stainless steel fl**ge bolts, anything of structural importance or not obviously visible was replaced with new grade 8 black phosphate fl**ge bolts.
Still some work left to go on this one, but final paint should be done this week and then we can get it all buttoned up to go home!
