💙 | COMMUNITY SUPPORT & WAYS TO HELP 💙
Our small community has shown incredible strength, compassion, and generosity in the wake of the Patten fire. From spreading the word to offering support in every way possible, Patten and the surrounding areas continue to show up for our neighbors in need.
💰 MONETARY DONATIONS
Monetary donations are being accepted through multiple avenues.
Raye Porter has organized a GoFundMe on behalf of all Patten fire victims. In addition, individual GoFundMe pages have been created for some victims, which can be found by searching “Patten Fire” on the GoFundMe website. Raye Porter will also serve as the point of contact for all additional monetary donations. Monetary Donations can be made to the Katahdin Trust - let them know the donation is for the Patten Fire Victims!
Donation jars will also be placed at local businesses in Patten for anyone wishing to contribute in person.

🏠 LOOKING AHEAD – LONG-TERM SUPPORT
With our small community working tirelessly each day to spread the word, share love, and show generosity, one important question remains: what about the long term?
Our community is actively working to identify permanent housing solutions for those impacted. If you have knowledge of local, affordable housing options, please reach out. Many of the displaced residents are on fixed incomes, so affordability is critical. Even a single lead or suggestion could make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for continuing to support our neighbors and standing strong together. 💙
