It's also a good reminder that colder weather isn't too far behind.

Before temperatures really start dropping, give your vehicle a once-over. Check your tires, battery, brakes, wipers and fluids now so you're not trying to deal with a problem on the first freezing morning of the year.

Nobody plans on getting stranded — but keeping a few essentials in your vehicle can make an unexpected breakdown a whole lot easier.

A good roadside kit should include:
🔦 Flashlight
🔋 Jumper cables or jump pack
🩹 First-aid kit
💧 Bottled water
🔌 Phone charger
🧤 Gloves
🛠️ A few basic tools

Summer can put a lot of miles on your vehicle.

Road trips, ball games, county fairs, camping weekends, gravel roads—you name it. As summer winds down, September is a great time to catch up on any maintenance that may have gotten pushed to the side.

Blake’s Auto is currently looking for full-time Automotive Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, including but not limited to: general maintenance, mounting and balancing tires, brakes, suspension, electrical diagnosis, module diagnosis, engine performance and diagnosis, diesel engine performance and repair. Interest in towing is a plus as well!

Starting pay based on experience!

Ideal candidate will have atleast 5 years of automotive repair experience.
