It's been a long winter... you probably havent popped the hood in months. It was cold. Getting out long enough to pump gas was enough.
But Spring is here. The sun is out. It is time to tune things up.
Those cold temps and salty winter roads will take their toll on your battery too! Corrosion, leaking battery acid, poor connections can all cause problems with reliability.

Literally nothing works on your car without it. Ensuring the battery is "healthy", charging properly and connected securely can PREVENT a lot of issues with your car.

So if your battery looks like this. Or is a few years old, (or more) it might be time for a new one. I clean all terminals and connections and ensure a solid ground connection with every change. This keeps the dirt and corrosion from building up and damaging those important wires and connections that you need to count on for a long time.
