Check out this absolute garbage sent to our phone. 🚩
Apparently, the "Missouri DOR" is texting people from a Philippines area code (+63) now? Give me a break. These scammers are out here trying to ruin people's day with fake threats about license suspensions and "speeding citations."
This grates us because we’re honest with you about your brakes, your engines, and your oil changes. Being honest also means calling out this kind of bottom-feeding behavior when we see it.

People please:

The DOR isn't sliding into your DMs to ask for money.

That .shop link is about as legitimate as muffler bearings, even though they tried to hide it after ".gov(nkf)"

If you actually had a ticket, you’d either get an introduction to one of Missouri's finest, or get a nice, annoying letter in your physical mailbox, not a text from a bot.

Don't click the link. Don't give them a dime. Just hit delete and get back to enjoying your week.

You may not realize it, but the auto repair industry is changing fast. Across the country, yes, even here in St. Charles, small local shops and parts suppliers are being bought up by large investment groups. Usually, the name on the building stays the same, so you’d never know anything changed, but behind the scenes, everything is different. Decisions about what you’re charged, what parts are kept in stock, and how fast a mechanic has to work are being made in a corporate office hundreds of miles away.
When those big companies take over, the focus shifts. It stops being about the relationship with the driver and starts being about hitting "production quotas" and "selling the ticket." That model isn’t necessarily evil, but it’s a far cry from how this industry used to work.
At Cintech Automotive, we’ve decided to stay independent. The people who answer your calls and diagnose your engine are the same people making the decisions every single day. We don’t have corporate pressure to hit volume targets, and we don't have distant management breathing down our necks to prioritize profit over accuracy.
Being an independent shop is becoming a rarity these days, but we’re committed to it. We believe in taking the time to do a careful diagnostic and building long-term relationships with the people who trust us. We’d much rather answer to our customers than to a group of investors.

Wow, can you believe it –

This month marks the incredible 30th Anniversary of Cintech Automotive Repair right here in St. Charles! It's also been an amazing ten years since we took over, continuing the family tradition that Casey's parents, Greg and Cindy, started (they're doing great in Colorado and always ask about so many of you!).

Honestly, reaching this milestone wouldn't have been possible without the incredible loyalty and support of all of you, our wonderful customers. You are the heart and soul of Cintech! For three decades, you've trusted us with your vehicles, and that means the world to us. You've kept our doors open and allowed us to build lasting relationships within this fantastic community.

For those of you who might be new to the Cintech family, we've been a family-owned and operated business since 1995, and we're proud to be a NAPA AutoCare Center with a team of experienced, ASE-certified technicians.

We are proud to highlight a member of our team today for his birthday: Ira, our brilliant technician and marine corps veteran. He is one of the best techs in the industry, with a wealth of knowledge, grit and experience. Plainly, he's got that dawg in him. He always solves the most challenging problems efficiently with a great attitude. He is an invaluable part of our family run auto repair shop, Cintech, and a wonderful colleague. He is resilient and optimistic, and we admire his courage. If Ezra could speak he'd probably write a 10,000 word paper on why Ira is his best friend.
