I spent 14 years in the fire service, proudly serving between two departments. During that time, I held the roles of Training Officer for four years and Captain for another four, helping shape and lead teams in high-stakes situations. That experience taught me how to stay sharp under pressure, hold myself to high standards, and always take pride in my work—principles I carry into every detail job I take on. To further hone my skills, I’ve trained with some of the best in the industry, including Mel Craig, Dan Tyger of Adam’s Polishes, and Josh Pierce. Their mentorship helped push my work to the next level and set a foundation for excellence at CME Shine. I’m also incredibly grateful for the support of my family. Their encouragement has fueled every step of this journey, and their belief in me is at the heart of this business. Being an IDA Certified Detailer means we have successfully completed ten rigorous tests that assessed our expertise in various areas, including Equipment, Chemicals, Glass, Interior Detailing, Leather, Paint Correction and Protection, Wheels and Tires, Prep Wash and Wash Bay, Detailing Terminology, and Safety and Compliance. We earned our Skills Validated Certification by demonstrating our practical abilities to a Certified IDA Trainer through hands-on testing to validate our knowledge. Additionally, we have traveled to California for specialized training with The Detailing Pro’s and Revivify America’s President Mel Craig, earning our Advanced Paint Correction and Revivify Certified Self Healing Installer certifications. Our hands-on training also includes completion of Adam’s Polishes Shine Academy in Thornton, CO, and other in-person training from IDA Certified Trainers across the United States. We are committed to more than just submitting a picture for certification; we invest the time, effort, and resources into hands-on training to continually refine our skills and enhance the service we provide to our clients.
