A FINAL THANK YOU FROM HALL’S H-D…we appreciate your support of Summer Thunder Tour…it was a blast!!
They say it’s not the Destination, it’s the Journey and what a JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN!! But like every long ride, there’s a time to put the kickstand down and reflect on the miles ridden. Stan and Pat Hall have retired from the Harley-Davidson business that has been a part of their families lives for 63 years.
The Hall’s purchased the Harley dealership from the Crawford family in 1962. The dealership was located in a (small) store in downtown Springfield, where as a high schooler Stan worked as the Crawford’s bicycle mechanic. They survived the AMF Era and in 1981 they watched as the “Eagle Soar” again. They were a part of many H-D Milestones including the 100th Anniversary in 2003, the same year they moved into the current location. The Hall’s are also very proud to have helped bring back the Legendary Springfield Mile Motorcycle Races.
We have been so fortunate to have met so many people from all over the world, whether it was through their travels on 2 wheels or those that made the dealership their destination or their “home”. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey, whether you have come from miles away or just around the corner, we think of you as family and we cherish the memories.
To the Staff of Hall’s H-D, past and present, Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Together we have fulfilled a lot of dreams. You will always be our family. 🧡🖤
To the new owners, Simpson’s Harley-Davidson, we hope your ride is as memorable as ours has been for many years to come.
Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season, from the Hall and Hughes families.n
