We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Springfield Mile events this year. After finally getting the break of perfect weather, the weekend came together for one of the most timely and exciting race programs we’ve had in a long time.
The track crew delivered an outstanding surface, and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work. A big thank you as well to the staff for working with us to meet every need and providing such a fantastic facility to showcase what truly is the best race of the year.
To our sponsors, thank you for continuing to support what we love. Without you, these events simply couldn’t happen. And to all of our staff and , we truly appreciate the passion you share with us for the Springfield Mile. Many of you donate your time to help keep this historic event alive—we all work hard, but we enjoy every minute of it.
The racing was top-notch from start to finish. Congratulations to on sweeping both Singles events and clinching the championship. Hats off to on capturing his first-ever Springfield Mile win, and to for earning his first career Grand National Flat Track victory.
This year also brought the Springfield Short Track, which we were proud to take on alongside . Huge thanks to Cory and his crew for stepping in last minute and making it happen—we couldn’t have pulled it off without you. Special thanks as well to Steve Nace and Kelly Bell for being on standby and helping guide things when needed.
As the season winds down, we want to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable winter. We look forward to seeing you back at the track next year in one way or another.
