Recently, after receiving a vehicle to donate, CBA Ocotillo gave their time, talent and expertise to ensure it was safe and reliable on the road. Once it was ready, they began praying about who should receive it. As they sought God’s direction, one organization kept coming to mind: Teen Challenge Home of Hope.

When the team reached out to the home’s director, they discovered one of the ministry’s staff members, Jewells, had been faithfully praying for reliable transportation. A graduate of Home of Hope herself, Jewells chose to remain after completing the program, first serving as an intern before joining the staff. Today, she dedicates her life to serving the women and children who find refuge and healing through the ministry.

The director shared that she and Jewells had been praying specifically for a vehicle and believed God had already promised to provide one. The call from the Ocotillo team was the answer they had been waiting for.

🩺 Subaru Surgery Update: The Heart Transplant

When this 2016 Subaru Crosstrek showed up making a "knock-knock" joke that nobody liked, we knew it was serious. One relative compression test later, and the diagnosis was in: **Internal engine failure.** Ouch. 📉

But don't worry, 💪 Tanner 💪 is on the case! He’s performing a full heart transplant using a low-mileage, recycled engine from one of our trusted sources.

🐢 From Turtle to Turbo

This 2014 Chevy Malibu arrived in "Limp Mode"—which is basically car-speak for "I’m not doing this today." With zero throttle response and a grumpy check engine light, it was officially moving at the speed of a Sunday stroll. 😴

Ethan to the rescue. 🛠️
After diving into the engine data and spotting some "out-of-range" drama, he found the culprit: a failing high-pressure fuel pump. It’s hard to run a marathon when you’re trying to breathe through a clogged straw! 🍹❌

It was a late night but Giants Baseball brought home the Championship in the USSSA Arkansas Border Battle!

At one point, the team was down 2-7 with two outs but they stayed focused and put up 6 runs to take the lead and secure their spot in the Championship game.

It was a hard-earned win, and every player stepped up when it mattered. Our coaching has been focused on selflessness and applying our faith in everything we do! We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and resilience of our young men.
