Been quiet around here since the season ended, but I'm going to Charlotte for the NASCAR Awards banquet to get my Rookie of the Year award! Couldn't have done it without all my friends and family helping out!

Had a great morning in the state fair parade Saturday! The clutch in this racecar is kind of nasty so we tried towing it behind my girlfriend's Charger but the strap broke within two blocks. haha. My clutch leg got a workout, but it is stupid fun driving this thing in the streets! There may have been burnouts involved. Did you see me there? Post your pics in the comments!

After a rough couple of races, we finally put together a great race day last Saturday. Started 6th for the feature and finished 4th! Super excited and I'm looking forward to the season finale on Aug 31st! real life kept me from the track last Saturday, but Dustin was there with the baby grand. They had problems that kept them from running the heat races but got it out there for the main. Started 6th and finished 4th!

I then went to Capitol Speedway on Sunday and drove Billy Magers' dirt late model! What an amazing ride that was. I'm already scheming to do it again!

Crazy hot day for Alaska made for some great challenges to overcome. Great work by the team getting the car sorted and feeling great under me. Was fully relaxed and biding my time to make moves later in the 75 lap main. Sadly was not to be when another car turned into me and sent us both into the wall. Day done on lap 3.

That's racing. S**t happens. It's all fixable and neither of us are hurt. Video coming soon!
