Thirty nine years ago, Robert “Dr. Bob” Wilbern started working on automobiles and, not just any automobile, Robert would specialize - his car of choice. Throughout those years, and working exclusively for Mercedes dealer(s) in the Springfield area, Robert, “Dr. Bob” quickly became the “customer’s choice” for individual and personal Mercedes-Benz in-service repairs. After many years of Mercedes Be

nz factory training, Robert would become known to his customers, as “Dr. Bob” (Mercedes-Benz Specialist) who could, and can, fix most anything on a Mercedes-Benz. In 1993, encouraged by customers, friends and family, “Dr. Bob”, would open Roberts Automotive in Springfield, IL. Later, sons Mike and Brian would join “Dr. Bob” and together the Wilbern family set a new standard for personalized quality Mercedes – Benz service in Springfield and surrounding areas.

“Dr. Bob” and his sons, Mike and Brian, are also available as your low-cost sales provider of; low-mileage, gently used, high quality pre owned Mercedes-Benz. Trustworthy and reliable, “Dr. Bob” sets the standard and expectation for both sales and service on import vehicles and their owners, one vehicle at a time. In addition to selling and servicing a diversified selection of makes and models, Robert’s Automotive offers a unique and personalized “CUSTOM ORDER” program with the ability to acquire most any high quality low mileage pre-owned vehicle. Robert’s has established relationships with lending institutions to accommodate qualified clients low-interest financing needs. Robert’s Automotive offers a wide range of aftermarket products, including fully insured extended service agreements that are good in most all states, and GAP insurance along with computerized vehicle registration, license and sticker.
