The schedule for this weekend's events:

Friday will be hang out at the Quality Inn & Suites. I'll have your goodie bags ready to pick up with your t-shirts, etc.

Saturday morning, we will meet in the north Chesterfield Village parking lot behind Garbo's Pizza between 8-8:45am and will leave promptly at 9am to head to the Crane City Park.

Once we are at the park, it's hang out and visit with folks until everyone decides to leave.

There are no food trucks planned to be on site, but there are are a few restaurants in Crane. Feel free to either walk or drive to those. The objective is to patronize the local businesses in Crane.

Thanks, and we'll see you tomorrow and Saturday!

Looking forward to including these in the event day goodie bags.

I did talk to B-Scott last weekend and hopefully we will have shirts by the first part of June.

So, something TOTALLY in a different direction from the Midwest Forty Ford 80th Birthday Gathering event.

Today (which happens to be my sister's birthday), my '40 Woodie Hotwheel is one of the participants in the King of the Mountain Die Cast Racing Tournament. I haven't seen the video, but I am expecting to get my can kicked.

I submitted two '40 Ford Hot Wheels, but my '40 Coupe got a DNQ.

Enjoy!

T-shirt update for those who asked for shirts to be mailed.

UPS tracking advised that they should arrive at my house yesterday by 2:30pm. Later, the tracking stated by 9:00pm. The e-mail had the link to follow the package on the map, and while it was just a couple streets away, many times throughout the day, at 9pm, they were still not here and the tracking link quit working.

Around 9:55pm, I heard noise on the front porch. Upon inspection, I found two big boxes of t-shirts on the front porch. Dunno what's going on with UPS, but the driver was working LATE last night.

The first 10 packages got mailed out today. There are several more to be mailed, and I will get the remainder sent out over the next few days.

Thanks for your patience. The shirts turned out pretty dang cool!

I'll be placing 1 more order at the end of August. To order your shirt, or register for the event, please fill out the form located here:
