We are starting the week out with some great feedback received last week from around our world!

Carlos Lara at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie NY - We took a call from a nurse at VBMC MOB. She wanted to call and commend Carlos for the good work he has been putting in. She said he is exceptional, courteous, professional, and is always in a good mood. He goes above and beyond for the MOB, and he is ‘the best valet in the 6 years I’ve been here!’” Well done!

Our Saint Peters Albany Team – “My husband was a patient at St Peters from July 2026 to Aug 29, 2026. Your valets were absolutely FABULOUS!!! I was there twice a day, every day and each and every encounter was so positive. Not just with me but everyone. Your training is phenominal and I wanted to let you know how awesome these people are!”

Steve had 2 great emails, including: “On 9/22, a patient arrived with severe shortness of breath and the valet was essential to them getting to the ED promptly to receive immediate care. Good morning, all.

I’m writing with the sad news that we have lost one of our own.

Tom Legere worked as a Shuttle Driver in Worcester for about 10 years before having to step away earlier this year due to medical issues.

Tom was a valued member of our team and family, and will be sorely missed.

He passed away on Thursday, and services are being held Monday in Worcester.

Congrats to our August Employee of the Month – Hunter Barnard of the Syracuse Marriott Downtown!

He was nominated by Regional Manager Dave Maxim, who writes:

Hunter took over as the Manager at the Marriott when we started a little over a year ago. Since then, he has worked countless hours to make sure that the account is running smoothly and showing the management and guests at the Marriott the VPA Difference!!! We have received many emails from the Marriott showing how Hunter has turned the service around with improved Guest Satisfaction Scores (GSS). Their scores start with Valet, as we are the first and last impression a guest faces when coming and leaving the property. Hunter has worked tirelessly to make sure that all of his staff are providing exceptional valet and customer service.

These comments include: “The initial interaction with the valet manager (Hunter) was great during my check-in, he was super helpful with my car and luggage.” – “Front Desk and Valet Staff were extremely efficient and professional” – “Outstanding Valet Service” – “The Valet guys were great”
This one sums it up – “Our experience was nothing short of excellent, beginning with efficient Valet Parking, a friendly and very accommodating welcome.”
Hunter has led his team through many challenges with a smile. This is a downtown environment with many factors, and welcoming guests with a smile is where it all starts.
Thank you to Hunter and the crew for a job well done, and congrats on being named our Employee of the Month!
