I finally made it y'all! Those two holes plugged up with disgusting goop are what coolant is supposed to be flowing through. These lower intake gaskets made it nearly 100k miles, and it's fine to finally let them rest in peace.

When doing larger jobs, like these lower intake gaskets, I only get it back together by labeling every single bolt and part that comes out. I also dump a gallon of stinky, rotten coolant on my floor, unaware of it being trapped under said intake. I wondered what the gurgling sound was when I started to break the gasket seal.

Every brake job I do is the same story: overtorqued caliper bolts, no grease on the slide pins, wheel hub and hardware isn't cleaned... Lowest quality pads. That's not how we do things at Diesel Detailing, I'm tellin' ya.

3 Reasons I Do My Own Auto Repair:

1. No more waiting all day in a shop, and paying $1000. I can change brakes in an hour or so, for a hun'nerd bucks.

2. It's always done right. Shops charge max price, and skip as much as possible. I grease everything, clean everything, and use the highest quality parts.

3. You can inspect things. Shops want you in and out as fast as possible. Who cares if your bushings are cracking or your shocks are leaking?

This work truck F150 took two full carpet and seat extractions! There were times I almost put down my drill and said "that's good enough," but that's not how we do things at Diesel Detailing. We don't stop until it's as close to factory clean as we can get it. That's the quality promise.

We decided the last truck wasn't big enough, so we detailed this enormous dump truck's interior today! This truck had a decade's buildup of mud and clay in the carpet. Detailing giant vehicles is actually a lot of fun, because the dash is crazy rewarding to clean. Big thanks to my wife and go-partner in this incredible business.

This F350 is officially the biggest vehicle I've worked on. Nothing looks as nice as a new brake caliper, and the one I replaced was mighty crusty. First job of the season!
