Rant time:

We use certain things because that’s what we as professionals stand behind and it meets or exceeds OEM standards.

If you want something else tell us ahead of time.

Like OEM filters instead of Docs, ford oil instead of Mobil or chevron. OEM coolant vs elc, green vs red.

We will do what you request.
But if you don’t say anything about. How are you going to get mad that we did exactly what we said we would do and it meets or exceeds standards.

Had a new customer drop his truck off for an oil change, coolant flush and a few other things.

Both the parts he supplied were either wrong or unusable.

We put 10w-30 oil in his 6.7. He got mad because he ONLY runs 5w-40. I removed the whole oil change from the bill.

Then coolant type came into question after he paid.
We use RED ELC in every truck if they request a coolant flush. He gets extremely upset and leaves.

We use RED ELC in every single coolant flush job. Unless the customer specifically requests something else.

If you come to Georgia Diesel Garage, you’re getting red coolant unless you request different.

You’ll get 10w-30 on certain trucks unless you request different.

You’ll get 15w-40 on certain trucks unless you request different.

We stock DOC’s Diesel filters, if we run out of those we get OEM or WIX and sometimes Micro guard because that is who we believe makes DOC’s.

We are once again under staffed this week since Andrew is on vacation. We are backed up with over 20+ trucks at our shop. Please be patient with us as we work through the jobs.

With that being said. Who wants to be a diesel mechanic????? Absolutely has to have experience and good references in the diesel pickup repair world.

No semi truck repair doesn’t count. LIGHT DUTY DIESELS.

What car shows are coming up? Now that the Diesel Trans Am is running, we would like to attend some local car shows.

Tried to enter that big event in Savannah. The swerv car show or whatever it is.

But I guess they don’t like original ideas that look like a 2 year old put it together so we got denied
