An oil change is never just about the oil...

Every time your car's up on our lift, our techs are checking your belts, hoses, brake pads, fluid levels, tire wear... the whole picture.

Half the time we catch stuff before it turns into a real problem. Yesterday it was a serpentine belt that was about two weeks from snapping on someone's daily commute. Small fix now versus a tow truck and a bigger bill later, easy choice.

That's really the heart of our multi point inspection.

It's not about finding things to sell you.
It's about knowing your car as well as you do, so nothing sneaks up on you.

So next time you're due for an oil change, think of it as a little checkup for your whole vehicle, not just a fluid top off.

Ready for yours?
Come see us or book online, we'd love to take a look!

Summer sun is rough on wiper blades. Even if they look fine, heat can dry and crack the rubber until the next downpour makes the problem VERY obvious. 🌧️

Chattering, skipping or streaking? It’s probably time for a fresh set!
Most blades should be replaced every 6–12 months, especially if your car spends a lot of time in the sun.

Swing by Chloe’s and we’ll help make sure you’re ready for the next pop-up storm!

Wrapping up the week, and thinking about conversations we had with customers this week.

So many folks, especially women, told us they've walked into other shops feeling talked 'down' to or unsure if they were being upsold on stuff they didn't need.

That's exactly why we run things different here.

Every estimate we write out is broken down in plain English. No confusing codes, no pressure to say yes on the spot. If your car needs something, we'll show you why, explain what happens if you wait, and let you make the call.

If it can wait, we'll tell you that too.

You should feel comfortable asking questions in your shop, not rushed out the door. That's the whole point of what we're building here.

If you've been putting off a repair because you dreaded the conversation, come have a different one with us.

Book online or just stop by and say hi.

A lot of folks avoid the mechanic altogether... not because of the cost, but because of the conversation. Feeling talked down to, or worried they'll get upsold on stuff they don't need.

We built our whole approach around fixing that problem first. See what a shop visit feels like when nobody's rushing you or talking over your head.

Quick mid-week test for you, and it only takes about 10 seconds.

Grab a penny, turn Lincoln's head upside down, and stick it into your tire tread grooves.

If you can see all of his head, your tread is worn down and it's time to talk tires.
If part of his head disappears, you're still good.

This matters more in summer heat than people realize. Hot pavement plus low tread equals less grip when you need to stop fast. And speaking of low, always check your pressure when tires are cold (first thing in the morning, before you've driven anywhere). Heat makes air expand, so a midday reading can lie to you.

That TPMS light on your dash isn't just decoration either. It means a tire is low, not that something's broken.

Don't ignore it, don't panic either. Just get it checked.

If you run the penny test and Lincoln's whole head is showing, swing by or book online. We'll get you taken care of!

A question we get a lot at each of our shops: "Why are my brakes squeaking?"

Most of the time it's just the little wear indicator doing its job, a small metal tab that rubs against the rotor once your pads get thin. Annoying sound, but actually helpful. It's your car tapping you on the shoulder before things get worse.

Now if that squeak turns into a grind, that's different. That usually means the pad is gone and metal is hitting metal, which can chew up your rotors fast. And if your pedal feels soft or sinks lower than usual, don't wait on that one either. Could be air in the lines or a fluid issue.

Heat is sneaky too. Hard stops and stop and go traffic can warp rotors over time, which shows up as pulsing or vibration when you brake.

If your car's been talking to you lately, let us listen.
Swing by or book online this week, we'll check pads, rotors, and fluid while you wait!
