This 2015 Ford F-250 came in needing new rear cab mounts to pass Pennsylvania state inspection.
When replacing cab mounts on these trucks, it's always a good idea to heat the factory thread locker (Loctite) on the cab bolts before removal. Doing so helps reduce the risk of breaking the captive (cage) nuts inside the cab, which can turn a straightforward repair into a much more involved job.
Higher-trim Super Duty models are equipped with carpet instead of rubber flooring, making access to the cab mount bolts more challenging and requiring additional disassembly.
