Not only do we carry Race Officials at triathlons, we often carry photographers as well.

And sometimes, when the timing is right, photographers catch us in the act.

A couple seasons ago, CLASH Endurance started a new race during their standard triathlon weekend. It's called "Redline Relay".

The format is really cool - teams of bicycle riders sign up in groups of 4-6 riders, and the goal is for each team to complete a set number of laps around the race course. Each team is free to choose whatever strategy they desire, but each rider on the team has to ride a set number of laps.

In addition, they set up their own pits (in this case, right on Pit Row at Daytona International Speedway... how cool is that?), and during a pit stop each rider has to hand off the "baton" to their next rider (a timing chip inside a water bottle).

It's neat to see the team strategies unfold, and some of the rider switches in the pits can be quite quick!

We're proud to get to circulate the course during this race, and we even get to be part of the "rolling start" with all of the athletes riding in formation behind an official NASCAR pace car!

TSB Moto recently had the honor of being the moto provider for the inaugural CLASH Endurance Coastal Mississippi event, located in beautiful Gulfport, MS. It was also once again the host of the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships.

I've said it before and will continue to say it - the staff of CLASH Endurance and USA Triathlon are fantastic people, and we're very proud of the relationships we've built. It's our pleasure and honor to helpp support these two fine organizations. Plus, it's a lot of fun!

I want to share a little something with you.

Meet Victoria Brumfield, CEO of USA Triathlon. This is a picture from the USAT Multisport Festival in Omaha, Nebraska.

Notice what she's doing. Or rather, what she's NOT doing.

She's not sitting in an office. She's not issuing decrees in a suit in air conditioned comfort. She's not standing idly by.

She's out there, on the race course, competing with the other athletes. And on this particular day, I watched her over and over again, giving words of encouragement to other riders on the course and offering tips for people on how to make their race more effective and enjoyable.

I never once saw her speak harshly to anyone. In fact, it was quite the opposite - nothing but praise and encouragement for everyone she saw.

In a world of CEOs who use their position as a club to force obedience, Vic uses her position to lift up and encourage other people.

Be like Vic.

The mission of TSB Moto is to help ensure safe race course operations for multisport and other bicycling events.

The way we do it is by searching for the best motorcycle riders, giving them effective training and support, and making sure that they are a good fit with the team culture. "Unit cohesion" is a phrase we live and die by.

If you're serious about course safety, we're the people you should be speaking with.
