Our Gertie has had some ear issues and not felt well for a couple days so she has been MIA at the shop. We never realized how many people would notice she was not there beyond us. ♥️

We are excited to be getting this new tire changer and balancer! They were delivered yesterday and should be installed and ready to roll (literally) by sometime next week. As a side note, for the majority of our customers, we can order your tires and have them in the next day. We are hoping to be able to keep our old balancer and changer as long as it holds up so we can mount more sets of tires on the daily schedule! Give the video a quick watch!

Reminder: We are closed today, Monday, July 6th, in observance of the holiday. Papaw is making some memories! We chose to take today instead of Friday for various reasons. We hope you all had an eventful and memorable 250th Celebration with your friends and family! Our country is blessed! We are blessed! Thank you all for all you do for us and our family. Because it’s almost the 4th, it’s only appropriate that we share this amazing International with y’all! This Scout first showed up a while back and did NOT look like this. We did some pretty major overhauls on it prior to it leaving our shop for the body work, paint, and interior overhaul. We installed a new wiring harness, Dakota Digital gauges, outfitted it with Vintage Air A/C, a lift kit, new tires, and some other things. The owner left and brought it back and we were stunned when we saw how great it turned out. We are also thankful he continues to trust us to perform the maintenance and other work on it as it is needed. Happy Red, White, and Blue y’all!

At the risk of this LOOKING political, please know it is not. However, we are thankful for those leaders who listened to their constituents. The “Right to Repair” Act was a significant concern and an extreme need for small business like our own as well as our locally own parts stores (and all of those garages and parts stores across America). We are grateful to be able to continue to have the right to repair your vehicles at a reasonable rate in comparison to those at dealerships. We were never able to afford those prices and we know our customers can’t either. We know this doesn’t mean the fight is over. There will be many more challenges but this is one was a win. 👏🏼
