It's been a busy couple weeks at the shop!
Not only have we had to keep up with the day to day operations, we also attended the Sportsman Expo at the Convention Center this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

Here are a few rigs we finished up in the past two weeks.

Three Polaris RZR Pro XP models - These each came in for a bit of everything. Suspension, electrical, skid plates, service work and more!

Polaris Ranger 800 - We have done a bunch of work to get this unit running and driving like new. On it's most recent visit, we did an alignment, redid the headlight wiring, and some service work.

Teryx 800 - This machine gets run on the jobsite daily. We did some service work and brake work to make sure it's safe out on the job.

Ranger 570 - This machine was in desperate need of a new skid plate. We installed a new aluminum plate to protect the undercarriage for years to come.

Thank you all, have a great week!

Week of 2/16/26 to 2/20/26

Sorry for the lack of photos this week! We have been slammed even with the snow storms.

Polaris General XP - 4 - This General came in as a crank no start. The primary clutch was locked up as well. Did some quick checks before we found the machine had unfortunately dropped a valve and needed a new engine. Replaced the engine with an OEM Polaris engine, and also repaired a radiator fan that wasn't working due to a blown circuit breaker.

Polaris Sportsman 500 - This older Polaris came in for the full package. Fuel system rebuild, full service, suspension repairs, and more. It left driving like a brand new machine!

Polaris General XP - 4 - Another General we knocked out last week, we have been seeing a ton of these lately. This one received a ZBROZ Racing spring kit to restore some ride height and increase ride quality.

Can-Am X3 - This X3 came in for some service work, a new (insanely bright!) Rough Country Spectrum 50" light bar, LED whip wiring, sound bar install, and a check engine/misfire diagnosis.

RZR 900XP - Unfortunately, this RZR 900 experienced the common Polaris transmission bearing failure. We ended up replacing all bearings with Sandcraft parts and will likely never need to mess with it again.

Week of 2/9/26 to 2/13/26

We knocked out a little bit of everything last week here at the shop. Everything from kids quads to Turbo rigs. Here's a jobs we got finished up last week.

Yamaha RMAX - This one came in for a common issue that we are seeing on these Yamahas, a leaky stator/engine cover. We stripped this one down and installed a new stator cover gasket as well as resealed the water pump while we were in there.

RZR XP Turbo - Did some front and rear end work to tighten up the slop in the suspension. New wheels bearings, adjusted the ball joints, new CV boot, new knuckle, new tie rod hardware, and some other goodies.

Ranger XP 1000 - This one came in for a quick service. We did all of the oils, gave the machine an inspection, cleaned the clutches out, greased any fittings, and made sure it is good to go for the year.

Sportsman 550 - This one initially came in for some minor work but once we completed our inspection, we found that the front diff had a substantial leak and it needed some suspension work. We ended up resealing the front differential, new prop shaft u-joints, full service, throttle repair, torquing all suspension, and some other small things to get it back to 100%.

X3 - This X3 came in for a clutch kit install.

X3 - We had another identical X3 come in for some service work and a new belt.

Week of 02/02 - 02/06

Another busy week in the books! Here's a look at some of the work we finished up last week.

Polaris Sportsman 570 - Our client just purchased this machine and wanted us to give it a good look over, full service, install a Polaris winch, and upgrade his lighting a bit. We installed a set of light pods tied in to the factory high beam switch for a clean and functional install.

Yamaha Rmax - This machine came in for some service work and a new set of BFG KM3 tires.

Polaris Ranger 570 - This machine, used for an environmental research program, came in for it's yearly look over and service. We ended up doing quite a bit including new u-joints, shocks, suspension bushings, service work, a new battery, and some other odds and ends.

KFX 400 - This ATV came in for cooling system problems and a fuel leak. We found that the fan fuse was blown, causing it to over heat and coolant to burst out of the over flow. We also rebuilt the Mikini carburetor to fix the fuel leak.

Grizzly 600 - This ranch ATV came in for a quick check up and some service work.

General XP - We previously installed some upper doors and a heater on this unit. It was brought back to us for an alignment and we also double checked the new heater hoses that were added to make sure all is well after the owner put some miles on it.

Have a great week!

Things are picking up, don't procrastinate getting your machine ready for riding season!

We are at capacity right now with several more appointments on the calendar. We are likely going to be busier than ever this year, and wouldn't have it any other way!

Don't be that guy who waits until the last second for service, customization, repairs or whatever else your ATV or UTV might need.

Give us a call today to schedule your appointment.

Attention Polaris owners!

If you own a Polaris General, Ranger, XP 1000, or any other model with turf mode or a reverse chain then this post is for you!

On this Polaris General, we found that the plate which actuates the turf mode gear had broken off. This could have caused significant transmission damage. We have been seeing an increase in turf mode failures recently.

Not only was the transmission weak because of the turf mode, it also uses a chain to drive the reverse gear. This chain looks like a bicycle chain! The chains do not hold up under any significant load.

The third main failure point in these transmissions (and most other Polaris transmissions) are the bearings that the gears ride on. These are cheap Chinese bearings that often fail, sometimes taking the transmission case with it!

What's the fix?

We can tear your transmission down, delete the turf mode (rear wheels are now always locked), upgrade the single thin reverse chain to two thicker chains, and swap all of the bearings and seals for Japanese bearings.

This General transmission will never have to be torn down again as long as maintenance is kept up on.

We can handle all of your transmission work whether it's preventative maintenance, or if you have experienced a failure and need it repaired!

Week of 1/26 to 1/30

Another busy week in the shop, here's a couple notable jobs we got completed this week!

Polaris General - This General received Super ATV soft upper doors and an Inferno heater. This is a great bang for the buck way to keep warm in the winter! We have measured the output of these Inferno heaters at over 150 degrees.

Polaris General XP 4 - This General initially came in for a check up and some other small odds and ends, but we ultimately discovered that the turf mode in the transmission failed. We removed the transmission, deleted the turf mode, replaced all of the cheap bearings with a Sandcraft bearing kit, new seals and it was good to go! We also added some new rock sliders, new tires, and did some other service work.

Polaris Sportsman 700 - This machine was just purchased by the owner and wanted us to check it out. We went through the entire machine, made some repairs, installed some tires, did a full service, and it was good to go!

Week of 1/19/26 to 1/23/26

This week was full of a little bit of everything - diagnosing, service work, major repairs, snow plows, and more.

Polaris RZR Turbo S - Our client just purchased this car. He wanted us to go through it and to add some of his own touches. Some of the work we performed included new wheels and tires, front end gusset plate, an S&B particle separator, a ton of wiring, and a fresh set of radius rods.

Sand Paddles - We mounted a fresh set of Sandcraft Destroyer paddles on some Pro Armor wheels for a client's RZR Pro R. We can help you with a variety of sand paddle set-ups at great prices!

Yamaha Rhino 660 - This Rhino sat around for quite while. We went through the entire fuel system (new Mikini fuel pump and a carburetor rebuild), did a complete service, and installed a new set of tires. It might not look like much but it runs like brand new.

Yamaha Grizzly 700 - We did a complete snow plow system on this Grizzly. This one is unique compared to most of the plow kits we do, it has an electronic actuator mounted on the plow frame so the plow angle can be adjusted without getting off the quad.

Polaris Ranger 570 - This Ranger came in for a quick inspection and service. We took care of some minor issues, did a complete service, and got this machine in and out same day.

Kawasaki Mule - This machine came in for a check engine light, parking brake issues, and needing a service. Found a quick fix for the engine light, adjusted the brake, and completed a full service on the unit.

Kawasaki Brute Force - This client wanted to make sure his machine was in good shape prior to listing it for sale. We did a complete service, carburetor rebuild, and check-up to make sure it is ready to roll for it's new owner.

Have a great weekend!

Week of 01/12/26 - 01/16/26

Last week was another busy week at the shop, here's a small snippet of what we got done!

Can-Am Defender - This machine came in for a bunch of work. We installed lights, a second battery kit and a switch panel. Did some clutch work, shock adjustments, replaced a rocker panel, and some other small things. The wiring on this job came out so clean that it deserves it's own post!

Polaris Pro R - Knocked out some 5150 whips and rock lights on this clean unit.

Polaris Hawkeye - We don't only do the big UTVs! This one came in for a quick shifter repair.

Polaris General - This one was a nice and easy inspection and some service work. Checked the whole machine over, installed a new belt, and did a full fluid service.

Kawasaki Prarie - This Prarie has spent most of it's life in storage. After the customer did the basics on it, we went and rebuilt the carburetors and got some new tires installed. We also found the front brake system was clogged with old, broken down brake fluid. We cleaned out everything we could, but ended up having to replace the front brake line assembly. Good to go now!

Have a great week everyone!
