This F350 diesel came to us after the owner was told it needed a transfer case. That repair didn’t fix the problem. Next, they were told it needed a transmission.
At that point, they were looking at well over $10,000 in parts and labor.
The actual problem? A broken rear axle caused by lack of proper lubrication and/or a previous improper repair.
Modern diesel trucks are expensive to repair, but they’re even more expensive when parts are replaced without proper diagnosis.
We’re seeing situations like this every day. Accurate testing and diagnosis can save thousands of dollars and prevent unnecessary repairs.
If your truck isn’t driving properly, make sure it’s diagnosed correctly before spending your hard-earned money.
