Behind every install, calibration, and quick question answered is a technician who knows exactly what they're doing.

Today, for National Automotive Industry Day, we want to thank the technicians at the nearly 6,000 service centers in our network. They walk drivers through the device step by step, troubleshoot the tricky stuff, and treat every person with respect — often on one of the harder days of that person's year.

Thank you for the work you do. Our customers get back on the road because of you.

You feel fine. Your ignition interlock device says otherwise.

A morning-after flagged test can make your stomach drop, but it doesn't necessarily mean your device made a mistake. Alcohol can stay in your system longer than you might think, in some cases showing up on a breath test up to 24 hours after heavy or late-night drinking. Sleep, coffee, and a big breakfast may help you feel more alert, but they don't speed up how your body clears alcohol.
