Well we didnt have a pot of gold, but we did have a successful chicken BBQ last Saturday. We would like to thank our local businesses, neighbors, and friends that stopped by and supported us during the day. This year presented a few unique challenges like a wire down right near the station, trees down with roads closed, and multiple calls that our members responded to during the day. This would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our members and families that helped with the work leading up to and the day of the BBQ. Thank you all!

We are so thankful to be a recipient of this grant. We would like to thank the Scotland Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. and Deputy Chief Gurnack for the hard work that made this possible. This is the second grant in the past year we have received that helps save money for our taxpayers on equipment we need.

Several local fire departments are among those across the state receiving federal funding.

Bright and early this morning, Firefighter Prosperie took Service 104 to East Hartford to participate in Wishes on Wheels. This is a great event that we are proud to be a part of.
