'93 Evo motor for sale, much better than a '92 or older due to upgraded problematic pinion shaft and related gears. I just installed a better oil pump, cam, 4 lifters, checked it out pretty thoroughly.
Sold with original or new never run carb as shown, good alternator, oil filter. Evos are getting quite hard to find in good running condition.

Motor swap on '93 Fatboy. Customer bought a pristine low mile '99 motor from me that I did some hot rod upgrades to years ago. His motor had a lifter roller come apart that damaged the oil pump. His motor is fixed and for sale. This project turned out great and customer is very happy with the upgrade.

I just completed a fun and pretty easy project for one of my long time good customers. It's a mid '90's Fatboy with extremely low miles, that had been neglected and came out of Texas. I did a tune and service on it, switched out the body tin, new wheels and tires, removed a lot of the '90's chrome bling, lowered it and changed the exhaust.

This is a very rare motorcycle. It's a Honda 125cc GP factory built racer made in '77. It's one of 200 built and may be the best example remaining. I bought it new because of its uniqueness and I've always been fond of racers and ultimate high performance vehicles. I raced it one time without the fairing lower on, went down in a turn likely due to the original tires that had become hard with age at about 13 years old. I stored the bike indoors and about a year ago restored it to about 95% perfection. I sold it and the new owner made it perfect, got it running again and entered it in a show in Cali where he won first place.

Specs: 125cc
weight 155 lbs
2 cycle 36mm mikuni carb
6 speed close ratio
Top Speed 115 mph
push start, no lighting, no battery

'96 Road King in the shop with big transmission oil leak. The inner primary bearing race had "walked" and butted up against the main drive gear and had to be cut off. The sprocket nut had also loosened causing inside sprocket boss and seal spacer wear. The locking washer had cut into the nut points rendering it totally ineffective, something I've not seen before. I had all new parts in stock and this will make this leak free for likely another 20+ years as far as the trans and primary chaincase.

(UPDATE) There were several tell tale signs that this bike had last been worked on by someone that did not understand basic mechanical principles. All bolts way over torqued, lots of silicone sealer used where not necessary, oil seal installed backwards, Sprocket nut was tightened, then backed off before lock was installed which caused wear to all related components. Inconsistent torque on like fasteners. Some threads damaged due to previous overtightening.

This bike was dropped off yesterday and it's a '76 Shovelhead chopper on a rigid frame. The owner built it about 20 years ago and hasn't had it running in 8. I told him I could get it running better than ever providing it was as solid as it looked. I spent just under 4 hours on it and got it to fire up on the first kick 3 out of 4 times. It sounds terrific, runs great too. I bought one of these 1200cc Harley's brand new in '76 and it was a great bike. I think the owner will be very happy as he said he was only able to kick start it once.

Tech tip for TC88 users. Automotive excellent quality made in USA lifters can be purchased for under $10 each and used in your motor with great reliability and success. I've used them for years, offered a one year warranty on them, had no takers. Many H-D trained techs replace them on their own TC motors every 20K miles to keep the noise down, rollers, and internals happy. H-D's will run hotter than a car oil temp wise so accelerated wear may be an issue on every single component.

Roller rockers, what's up with them? My opinion, is they are a huge money maker for a manufacturer playing on the ignorance of the end user. I'd be surprised if they added 1/10th horsepower at peak RPM. I do know the failure rate is 10-100X that of a non roller rocker. I know also, in time the roller will no longer roll because it travels in such a small arc and will settle in to its happy spot on it's axle. This is especially true if synthetic oil is used. Rollers were tried in the rocker arm body years ago where the bearings contacted the shaft, what a disaster! Pulverized needle bearings everywhere, dropping down oil return passages.

A vendor sent me a flyer where I can buy their roller rockers for less than $60 a set of 4 to fit all Evos and TC's. A set of S&S rockers are almost $600 a set. So what's the difference? It's almost impossible to get S&S to warranty anything ever whereas the other vender will send me a replacement immediately at no charge with a phone call.

Would I use roller rockers in my own motor? Absolutely not. Even if give them for free? Still no, I'm not happy with how they have proven themselves as far as benefit vs. reliability.

2001 883 Sportster, near immaculate condition, one owner just over 30K miles. I've done every service since new and bought the bike a couple of years ago just because it was such a clean unadulterated example. I never did anything with it, it just sat in the shop. I ended up selling it to a great guy looking for a bike to start a hot rod build. He paid a lot, and got a lot, win-win. His build is progressing nicely.

I'm selling a very nice one owner 1976 Sportster 1000cc XLH electric start. Just serviced, ready for owner #2. It's been meticulously maintained and I recently did a couple of thousand $$$ in work to it including a Hondo John repaint of the gas tank last month. Several thousand dollars additionally spent over the last 2000 miles, S&S Super E, Dyna 2000i electronic ignition, Avon Premium tires, new brakes, and front rotor, new battery, Crown plating chromed the oil tank about 2 years ago. This bike has low miles, original bars, controls, seat, wheels, pipes, mufflers, wiring harness. "giving away" for $4500.

Several setbacks trying to get the '57 Pan chopper going. One was a broken lip on the intake port another was chrome plating done inside the carburettor. The issues were corrected, the bike started pretty easily and sounded great.
