Get on the water faster by becoming a boat club member with no upfront membership fees. Nauti Jane’s Boat Rentals offers summertime kayak, sailboat, and motorboat rentals, not to mention private sailing and motorboat lessons, on beautiful Pleasant Bay.

This Saturday, June 13, we will be hosting the second in-person Boating Safety Course at South Wharf. The course will be taught by a http://U.S.C.G. Auxiliary Instructor and upon completion, certificates will be given same day. Use the link below to sign up if you haven't already!
We will also have a certified vessel examiner on site (June 13) to perform a free Vessel Safety Check (VSC).
There are no consequences if your vessel doesn't pass - the goal is simply to help make boating as safe as possible for you, your family and your friends, through education. Vessels must be onsite for the check at South Wharf Yacht Yard and those that pass will be given an official safety decal to display. Call us to reserve a time!

⚓️ Massachusetts Boating Safety Reminder for 2026 🌊
Planning to get out on the water this season? Here’s what you need to know before your next rental:
• If you were born after January 1, 1989, you’ll need a Basic Boating Safety Certificate by April 1, 2026 to operate a motorboat or PWC. (Good news: penalties are waived until September 1, 2026.)
• If you were born on or before January 1, 1989, you have until April 1, 2028 to get certified.
There are plenty of easy ways to get certified, including free in-person “Boat Massachusetts” classes and online options approved by the state - you can find them at mass.gov.
