Did you know Riverbanks Zoo has an aerial way to see it all? 🚡

The Saluda Skyride is a gondola that connects the Zoo and the Garden, floating you above the Saluda River with panoramic views of the whole landscape 🌳🌊

Here's why it's worth the trip if you're staying with us this month: it's about 15 minutes from the resort, tickets are separate from general zoo admission so you can ride without doing the whole park, and the view at golden hour is one of the best in Columbia 🌅

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beating the storm AND getting a warm welcome? That's what we love to hear! 🌧️➡️☀️ "We arrived in the early afternoon, just ahead of a thunderstorm. The person at the check-in desk was very helpful and when I said it was our first time here she escorted us to our site #42. The concrete pad was large enough for our rig and Jeep. The site was well spaced from the adjacent site and the hook-ups (FHU) were conveniently located."

First up, Hometown Hotdogs rolls in for the first time on September 1st! Come try what they're all about.

Then get ready for Gamecock season, because Go-N-Nutz (.nutz ) will be here EVERY home game starting September 4th, serving up their famous multi-flavored boiled peanuts, a true South Carolina tailgate tradition, right here at the resort.

Weekend Roundup: Things to Do in Columbia, August 28-30 🎉

🍷 FOOD & DRINK: Friday evening, paddle the Lower Saluda River with Sunset on the Shoals at Saluda Shoals Park ! Enjoy a guided kayak tour followed by a curated wine tasting at the Redbud Shelter, complete with a complimentary commemorative wine glass. 6-8pm, ages 21+.

🎤 MUSIC: Also Friday night, head downtown to The Senate for R&B Only Live, a high-energy, DJ-led journey through R&B hits past and present. Come ready to sing and dance! 8pm, ages 18+.

🛍️ FAMILY FRIENDLY: All weekend long, Vintage Market Days takes over the SC State Fairgrounds with over 200 booths of vintage goods, handmade treasures, and seasonal finds. Kids under 12 get in free! Friday through Sunday, 10am-5pm.
