We’ve been asked multiple times, so we want to take a moment to clearly address this.

At Chattanooga Diesel Works, we do not remove, disable, or tamper with federally mandated emissions equipment, including DPF, EGR, SCR, or related systems.

The reason is simple: it is illegal under federal law to remove or alter emissions devices on vehicles originally equipped with them. Performing or advertising this type of work can result in severe penalties for both the vehicle owner and the repair facility, including substantial fines and legal consequences.

While we understand the frustrations that can come with emissions-related issues, our shop is committed to operating legally, ethically, and responsibly. We are happy to diagnose, repair, and service emissions systems within the limits of the law, and we will always be upfront and transparent with our customers.

Chattanooga, here’s the finished product.
Out with the old and in with the new. We installed 2006 F-350 Super Duty axles under this 1995 F-250 using a BDD conversion kit, paired with FOX 2.0 shocks and FOX steering stabilizers.

This classic truck now steers and rides like a modern Super Duty while still retaining its original character.
