Happy belated birthday to the Chalky Blue of my brother's dreams! One year ago yesterday, I finally got to see Chalky Blue as the truck it is supposed to be. There is no way that I could have done this by myself. So, I have quite a few people to thank for making what became a family dream come true. First and foremost, thank you to my brother Scott for being the best brother a girl could ever ask for and trusting me to make Chalky Blue what you envisioned. Thanks to my mom and dad for supporting me emotionally and financially with this build. Shawn Kilgore, I can't thank you enough or list all that you did. I just know that I couldn't possibly have finished Chalky Blue without you and also for keeping me from ever having to go through life without a brother. Eddie Tucker and Aaron Holmwood, since Scott never told one person all of his plans for Chalky Blue, I relied on you guys and Shawn to put all of those ideas together and I got two more bonus brothers! Thanks to Eric Saliba and the Little Shop crew for all of your hard work, bringing the frame to you was one of the best decisions that we made in this build. Nathan Coker at Coker's Rod Shop, there are no words to describe how thankful I am for all of the tireless work you put into bringing this truck from a rendering to reality. It just blows me away every time I see it. Thank you, Christopher Tisdale for making an interior that I never could have imagined. All of my No Regrets brothers and sisters, your encouragement and support has meant everything. I will always know that Scott picked the right club every time I look at Chalky Blue's custom steering wheel! I would like to personally thank Benjamin Partain, Rhonda Partain, Kristi Wolff, and Tim Pierce for never letting me give up when ever something went wrong and sharing my excitement when things were going right. Also, thank you to the wives and families of all the guys who spent time away from them to help me fulfill a promise I made to my brother. Finally, thanks to Daniel Hessenflow for selling Scott a truck that I, along with every person mentioned above, would spend 10 years turning it into Chalky Blue! TL;DR-thank you to everyone that helped make Chalky Blue the badass truck that it is.
