Hauling with a newer FORD & DODGE truck?

The defective brake controllers can make your brakes and your lights fail!

So if you're having trouble with your trailer lights (or brakes), it may be your truck's brake controller on the later Fords or Dodges. --check the recall list.

Dealer Solutions:

• Ford has a software update.

• Dodge offers a controller replacement.

🎯 EASY WINDOW SEAL FIX

If the rubber seal around your window shrunk and pulled away from the frame, there's an easy fix.

SOLUTION
1. Gently heat with a hair dryer or heat gun on low.

2. Push back into the corner.

3. Use a very small spot of adhesive, if needed.

✳️ To prevent your window rubber seals from shrinking from the sun's UV rays, use a protectant like 303 AEROSPACE PROTECTANT.

‼️ WARNING ‼️

🚫 DON'T SEAL WINDOW FRAME WEEP HOLES on your horse trailer❗️

They allow water to drain 💧 OUT of your window frame.

If fact, if you seal them, water may get trapped and actually CAUSE leaks INSIDE your trailer.

✳️ TIP: Flushing out window weep holes with a pressure washer ☝️or ✌️times a year is recommended to keep them clear of debris.

If you have a window leak, remove the window and frame, clean, re-seal, and re-install for a permanent solution.

👎 The availability and finding parts.

👎 Declining quality of parts.

👎Unreliable shipping services.

We are limiting the amount of trailer and auto services we offer in order to concentrate on the services we can still offer at a reasonable price and at the quality and timeliness our customers expect.

🔄 We are shifting away from part replacements and concentrating more on corrosion prevention since that was always the majority of our jobs.

With so many shows coming up, we wanted to remind everyone to check and grease their hitch couplers before every haul!!

If you have a goose neck or bumper pull, the couplers MUST have grease covering them to work properly and prevent premature wear.

🔦👀Shine a light into the coupler. If you see shiny metal like 👎 the 1st pic, then your ball and coupler metal is being sheared off one sliver at a time.

This causes the connection to eventually become loose and you may feel your trailer surge, bump, or jump when hauling or stopping.

Or worse the hitch can jump entirely off the ball!!!
We saw this happen TWICE last year!

Always check the tightness of your hitch ball and coupler.

And ALWAYS make sure there is PLENTY of grease on both the ball and up in the coupler every time you haul!

👍 Your coupler should look like the 2nd photo!
