🐾 The shop dogs say thank you… and we’ve got a quick update 🐾

I recently had some phone issues while switching to a new system, and it looks like some calls may not have come through or didn’t reach me properly. Apparently google voice has a very aggressive spam filter.

If you tried to contact me and didn’t hear back, I sincerely apologize — that was not intentional.

Another job in the shop — addressing a common Jeep 3.6L issue.
This one came in with valvetrain noise caused by failing rocker arms and lash adjusters. Lack of regular oil changes and maintenance is often a big contributing factor.
When caught early, repairs like this can prevent camshaft damage and avoid a full engine replacement.

Had to share some progress from the shop.
A lot of behind-the-scenes work happening on the Scout — fixing the fundamentals before moving forward.
Poor grounds removed and replaced with proper stud grounds, wiring upgraded and cleaned up, steering column mounted, and steering shaft in progress.
It takes time to undo bad work, but the goal is reliability and doing it once, the right way.

🚨 Shop Closed Until Monday 🚨

Hey everyone — just a quick update. The shop will be closed until Monday as I’m heading out to assist flood victims and bringing my machine to help with the cleanup efforts.

If anyone wants to donate supplies, I’ll have room on my trailer and will be coming through South Austin on my way out. I plan to leave tomorrow, if everything goes as planned.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause at the shop — and thank you for understanding.
