I worked with a shop today, Refining and Honing our skills with the 3M Random Orbital Polisher. We de-nibbed panels with 2000, then refined the scratches with Trizact 3000. Next step was to compound with the 34120 coarse wool pad and 3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Compound. We finished up with 34123 foam polishing pad and 3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Polish. One important step is to inspect your work between each step utilizing 3M Inspection Spray, 06082 to remove any residue and haze to show you the true finished result. Proper methods and techniques will yield excellent swirl free results time and time again!
