L&L Marine has been building piers in the Tidewater area since 1993. We value quality and durability, and put those qualities into every pier we build. Our piers have survived some of the toughest storms, from Hurricane Katrina to the several northeasters that pass through our area. L&L Marine has experience in many forms of marine structure, including gazebos, floating docks, boat houses, boat and jet-ski lifts, and walkways.

We are looking for committed full-time individuals to grow our marine construction team. Our company specializes in residential and commercial marine construction in Southeast Virginia. We are willing to train devoted workers with a basic construction background to learn the ins and outs of marine construction.

• Job will include nailing, carrying heavy loads, working in a marine environment, saws, water pumps, and pile driving. Transportation required and a willingness to travel around Newport News, Hampton, Smithfield, and Suffolk areas.

• Health Insurance and Retirement Plans after 90 days

• Pay Dependent on Skill Level

• Must be able to speak English at a conversational level

• Must be able to tread water and swim approximately 150 feet unassisted

• Clean Driving Record and/or Boater’s License is a plus

• Work hours will be Monday - Friday 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
