Slinger Speedway Announces New Truck Division for 2027

SLINGER, WI – Slinger Speedway is excited to announce the addition of a Truck Division for the 2027 racing season!

The new division will feature a five-race points championship, consisting of two events in conjunction with the Midwest Truck Series and three local race nights at Slinger Speedway. The division will utilize the Midwest Truck Series rules package, allowing competitors to compete under a consistent set of rules.

“We're excited about the opportunity to bring truck racing to Slinger on a more regular basis. Our goal is to build and grow this division while working hand in hand with the Midwest Truck Series to create something successful for both the racers and fans.”

Slinger Speedway looks forward to building a strong relationship with the Midwest Truck Series and establishing a competitive, sustainable division for 2027 and beyond.
Additional details, including race dates and the 2027 schedule, will be announced at a later date.

BIG NEWS FOR 2027!

The Sportsman Division at Slinger Speedway will have a new look in 2027!
Beginning next season, Slinger Sportsman will utilize the Mid-Am Racing Series rules package, making it easier for competitors to race both weekly at Slinger and with the Mid-Am Series.

The 2027 Slinger Mid-Ams points season will consist of a minimum of 5 races — 2 Mid-Am Racing Series events at Slinger and 3 local Slinger Sportsman race nights.
We’re excited about this change and the opportunity to bring more cars and competitors together under one rules package.

CROWN VIC NATIONALS & SMASHTEMBER CLASSIC – CANCELED

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast for this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the September 19th & 20th events at Slinger Speedway.

We have drivers planning to make the trip from multiple states, with some traveling up to 10 hours to race with us. Out of respect for those teams and their travel plans, we felt it was important to make this decision early rather than have everyone make the long trip with such an unfavorable forecast.

Unfortunately, there is no viable makeup date remaining on our 2026 schedule, so these events will not be rescheduled this season. We plan to bring the Crown Vic Nationals and Smashtember Classic back in 2027.

We know a lot of racers and fans were looking forward to this weekend, and we appreciate everyone who was planning to join us. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to making these events even bigger in 2027.

All entries and Tickets will be refunded through Ticket Hoss and Pit Pay.

Crown Vics will hit the high banks for some Vic-sanity in their door banging 100 lap feature paying $5,000 to win!
