Paccar with a ticking noise coming from the engine. Found valve adjustment out of spec removed oil pan to check camshaft found cylinder 2 intake lobe coming apart. Remove engine disassembled install new cam and lifters replace two worn push tubes and replace oil cooler due to metal contamination reinstall engine adjust over head fill fluids and start. Engine sounded great no longer making noise. Also replaced dpf due to poor engine performance from cam issue.

This truck was brought in with a Cummins X 15 engine complaint of high crank case pressure and pushing coolant. We performed an engine overhaul from top to bottom with stainless steel shims and counter boards cut. Along the lines of the rebuild we found the rear structure/flywheel housing Damaged. We removed clean surfaces and installed a new flywheel housing along with the rear gasket and rear main seal.
