Maintenance tip: end-of-summer heat is brutal on your cooling system, and that sets you up for trouble when the temps start swinging in fall.

Here's what to watch for:
- Coolant level dropping without a visible leak
- Sweet smell near the engine bay
- Heat gauge creeping higher than normal on hot days
- Milky residue on the coolant cap

Catching this now is a lot cheaper than a cracked head gasket later. If it's been a while since your last coolant flush, get it checked before the seasons change.
