We would like to say a big thank you and a sad good bye to all of our customers in the Green Bay and surrounding areas!
It has been our great pleasure to work with AAA these past 15 years to improve the quality of service for their members in this area and to help get you back on the road quickly and safely. We took great pride in giving you top notch service and you gave us exceptional survey scores to show it. Thank you!
We will continue to service AAA’s Northern Door County members with their light service and towing needs but the battery service program that we started for AAA in the Green Bay area has unfortunately been given to another service provider along with our light service calls.
We have made many wonderful friendships over the years and will miss seeing you! We wish you all the best,
Dan & Val Austgen

Have you checked your tires lately? Here's a fast, easy way to see if they’re safe and all you need is a penny.
Wisconsin law requires a minimum of 2/32” tread on all tires.
In general, if you see the top of President Lincoln’s head, your tread depth is too worn and needs to be replaced.

Happy ! Today is a good time to think about your vehicle’s “donut” (or full-size) spare tire.
As part of our public safety duties, we frequently assist motorists with tire changes and suggest you keep the following items on hand:
✅ Properly inflated spare in good shape
✅ Vehicle jack
✅ Tire wrench
Familiarize yourself with your vehicle’s user guide for instructions about changing a tire. And always try to move your vehicle to a safe location before making a tire change.
It is an honor to be recognized for our service to AAA and its members.
In Wisconsin, do you know when and where handheld cell phone use is prohibited? (Hint: March Law of the Month is Work Zone Safety)
• Active work zones
• Emergency response areas
• New drivers (permit and probationary licensees)
• While driving a commercial motor vehicle

Wisconsin Act 115 recently became law to enhance previous statutes that protect first responders at the scene of a crash.
The law defines an “emergency or roadside response area” as a portion of the road within 500 feet of an authorized emergency vehicle with flashing lights, such as a fire truck, police unit or tow truck.
Except for emergencies, phone use must be hands-free within the newly defined areas.
Additional penalties are added for reckless driving, failure to obey sign/signal/officer violations, and drivers who cause a crash within the areas.
If a driver causes a crash that hurts someone within the areas, the new legislation says the driver could be fined up to $10,000, face up to nine months in prison, or both.

Have you ever noticed a vehicle parked on the side of the road with police tape around it? The tape means it has already been checked. There is no need to call it in.
Based on traffic and weather conditions, there are times recovery of a disabled or damaged vehicle is delayed until conditions improve.
If emergency crews are out working, remember to or for warning lights on the shoulder of the roadway.
Nice job, Justin!
We are very fortunate to have such a great team. 🏆
It’s getting a little too cold to ride ‘em but we still tow ‘em! 🏍
You know, there's a lot of cold dense air to be ingested right now. And they say it runs best right before it lets go.
Just fits 👍🏻

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME: Our friends at the Wisconsin State Patrol stopped this vehicle Sunday on US 63 in Polk County because this isn’t a safe way to transport a snowmobile. If you’re transporting equipment this winter, you are advised to safely haul it secured on a trailer or in a truck.

It is so nice to receive thank you notes letting us know it was appreciated when we have gone above and beyond for someone.
Danny was going from 1 call to another when a car full of college aged girls were half off the road in a bad spot on the highway and instead of simply going past them, he stopped to help them get to a safe place and didn’t even charge them. He wished them a Merry Christmas and said it was his gift to them.
We are proud of our hard working team! They are here to help you in all weather conditions!!
Our prayers to a fellow tow truck company and their driver tonight.
Slow Down, Move Over!
