A little reminder, because we're going to nip this in the bud right now.
Today a customer showed up around 11:00 AM. For those who don't know, Precision Spray in Liners is a by-appointment shop and I don't open until 3:00 PM on weekdays.
The same customer then came back after 5:00 PM insisting we had scheduled an appointment for that time. We hadn't. I schedule for 3pm only on weekdays. I explained that showing up over two hours late to an appointment isn't something I can accommodate. He argued that I had told him 5:00 PM... which still would have made him late. In all the years I've been in business, I have never scheduled a customer that late in the evening.
He then said he had "lost my number." My phone number is listed on both Google and Facebook. Somehow he found my shop address twice, but couldn't find the phone number to call or message.
Here's the thing: if he had simply called, apologized, and asked to reschedule, I would have gladly worked with him. Instead, he chose to argue and storm off angry.
Please don't be that customer.
Respect appointment times, communicate if you're running late, and understand that as a small business, I schedule my day around the customers who show up when they say they will. Respect goes both ways.
