Tesla's Full Self Driving is really starting to change lives and it is just the beginning! Check out this review from one of our customers a couple weeks ago and how much it has changed her life! Buying a car sight unseen from another state is enough to make anyone nervous, but Jackson and the team at Recharge EV Sales made the entire experience worth it.
I was specifically looking for a Tesla with Full Self-Driving (FSD) included, and if you’ve searched for one, you know how difficult that can be. Many dealerships don’t even know whether FSD transfers with the car, list it incorrectly, or don’t mention it at all. Recharge EV Sales actually seeks these cars out, verifies what they have, and clearly lists them on their website. That alone made them stand out from everyone else I looked at.
We flew in from Indiana just 24 hours after the car arrived from auction. Unfortunately, the transport company delayed delivery (completely out of their control), and because the car had just arrived, there were a couple of unexpected cosmetic blemishes on the exterior that weren’t apparent beforehand.
What impressed me most was how they handled it. They actually pointed out a few things I probably never would have noticed until I got home. They didn’t try to gloss over anything or hope I wouldn’t notice. Instead, they walked me through every detail, worked with me on the price more than I expected, and made sure I felt good about the purchase. That kind of honesty is rare.
Even with a couple of hiccups, the buying process was incredibly easy. Jackson answered every question, never pressured us, and made the entire process feel straightforward and stress-free. Their no-BS approach and transparency were honestly a breath of fresh air.
Now for the part they probably don’t even realize…
I shared with Jackson that I have a diagnosed cognitive condition that affects my processing speed, but I didn’t go into much detail because my son was with me. I have a rare familial form of Alzheimer’s/dementia that has affected multiple generations of my family. Thankfully, I’m still in the very early stages and have many years of living ahead of me.
Over the last year, driving anxiety had gotten so bad that I found myself staying home and avoiding going places.
This wasn’t a luxury purchase. It was a quality-of-life purchase.
On our 800-mile drive home, we used Full Self-Driving for roughly 85% of the trip, and it was incredible. We also were able to camp in the back on the way home because they allowed us to ship our car seat and mattress ahead of us!
I can’t adequately describe the relief of arriving home feeling relaxed instead of mentally exhausted. It took so much of the stress out of driving.
Since buying this car, I’m getting out of the house again. I’m saying yes to trips I would have avoided a month ago. My anxiety around driving has lessened tremendously, and for me, this car has truly been life-changing.
So thank you, Jackson, and everyone at Recharge EV Sales. You didn’t just sell me a Tesla—you helped give me back confidence, independence, and a freedom I felt like I was losing. That’s something I’ll never forget.
I can also say this: if and when I trade my 2024 Model Y for a newer Tesla with FSD included, I won’t even shop locally. I’ll happily drive the 800 miles back to South Dakota to buy from Recharge EV Sales again. Honestly, after this experience, I would have traveled 2,000 miles to buy from them knowing I’d be treated this well.
