🔧 Tech Tip Thursday:
Trailer Safety Checklist

Before you get on the road with your trailer here are a few recommendations on what to check:
✅ Lights - blinkers, running, and brakes
✅ Hitch - make sure it is inserted properly with a safety pin
✅ Chains
✅ Coupler
✅ Tire pressure
✅ Tie Down Straps

⚠️ It is recommended (at minimum) to check these items before you take off and anytime you stop.

🚛🔧 Tech Tip Thursday: Don’t Forget Your Wheel Bearings!

Your trailer’s wheel bearings are one of those things you don’t think about… until they fail.

A properly greased bearing helps:
✅ Prevent expensive hub and spindle damage
✅ Keep your trailer rolling safely
✅ Reduce heat and friction
✅ Extend the life of your trailer

A good rule of thumb: Check and repack your wheel bearings about once a year or every 10,000-12,000 miles (more often if you tow frequently, haul heavy loads, or launch a boat trailer into the water).

⚠️ If you notice excessive heat coming from a hub, grinding noises, or grease leaking past the seal, don’t ignore it. Those are signs it’s time for service.
