Today marks 10 years for me at Toyota, and I’ve been reflecting on the journey that got me here. I started out in sales as an 18 year old kid barely graduating high school, to finishing my associates degree while learning the foundation of what it truly means to help people—listening, understanding, and finding the right fit for their needs. As time went on, i graduated college and I stepped into the internet department shortly after, where I took on marketing while continuing to sell, adapting to a changing industry and growing both personally and professionally. Now, I’m grateful to also be in a position where I can help coach and guide new hires, sharing what I’ve learned along the way while continuing to grow myself. 🥳
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my customers who have become more like family over the years. To my family who have allowed me to be there during important moments. To my old classmates, teachers and friends who have trusted me to help find the right vehicles for your lives, and to all the new people I’ve met along the way—thank you. I’m also incredibly grateful to my managers, my coworkers, and Toyota as a whole for giving me a true sense of purpose—helping people find solutions to changing lifestyles through something as meaningful as their vehicle. 🚗
I feel extremely blessed to have found a career that I genuinely love—one that feels like home, where coworkers become family. This journey has given me opportunities and experiences I never could have imagined, and it’s helped me achieve dreams I once only hoped for. From building a life, finding my partner Kim Anh, starting a family, purchasing homes and vehicles, to now sharing my knowledge with others—I’m thankful for it all. Here’s to the next 10 years. 🙏
