LS Tire Sales and Service was founded by Larry Sweigart who started selling and installing tires and performing general auto repairs part time in his small garage in 1975. His goal was to provide the best tires and the best service at an affordable price. With the help of his family and friends Larry converted an old barn on his property into a garage of which he moved his business into shortly af
ter opening full time in 1986. Larry became known to be passionate about his customers and always made sure to leave them smiling when they left. Many of his customers will never forget his favorite saying, "Boy, am I glad tomorrow is Saturday", as he said it every single day of the week. Larry was thankful for his loyal customers and was proud to say that he never had to advertise because of their loyalty and word of mouth. Sadly, in March of 2012 Larry passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. Larry's dream was that LS Tire Sales and Service would continue long after his work was done on earth. After Larry's passing, his son (Lorne) and grandson (Adam) were eager to fulfill his dream. Lorne had been helping his father with the business since he was old enough to be helpful in the shop and helped at night and on weekends once he started his career. Lorne's son Adam loved to spend time with Larry (Pop-pop) in the shop and helped out as well. Lorne and Adam continued the business part time to continue satisfying all of Larry's loyal customers.
