Noticed a little extra activity at our Sinking Spring location lately? 👀🚧

No, we're not tearing the place down. We're making it bigger! 😂

Construction officially kicked off this week as we begin expanding our Sinking Spring building, and we're pretty excited to see things getting underway!

We're sharing a few photos and a quick video of the progress so far, because what's a construction project without a little before-and-after documentation?

Stay tuned as we share updates along the way. Big things are happening in Sinking Spring! 🔧🏗️

Squeaking? Grinding? Scraping? Shaking? Your car should not have its own soundtrack.

Brake noises can give you a clue that something needs attention—but different sounds can mean very different things. And fun fact: if your brakes stop squeaking, that doesn’t necessarily mean they fixed themselves.

We’re translating some of the most common brake noises on the blog: https://leemylessoutheastpa.com/blog.html?post=what-do-squeaking-grinding-and-other-brake-noises-mean

Plus, Brakes for Breasts continues all October with FREE brake pads with the purchase of rotors and labor during qualifying brake service. 💗

We made the paper! 💗

A huge thank you to the Reading Eagle for helping us share the story behind this year’s Brakes for Breasts campaign.

All October long, Lee Myles is offering FREE brake pads with the purchase of rotors + labor on qualifying brake service, while donating 10% of qualifying brake service to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

This campaign means a lot to our team, and we’re incredibly grateful to see it getting some local attention.

There’s a lot more behind Brakes for Breasts than free brake pads. 💗

Where does the money go? What research is it helping fund? What exactly is included when you come to Lee Myles this October? And how much have our local shops raised since joining the campaign in 2019?

We broke it all down on the blog—including an update on the breast cancer vaccine research this campaign helps support.

If your vehicle doesn't shift the way it used to, don't assume the worst.

Sometimes a small change in the way your car drives is simply your vehicle asking for a little attention. That's exactly what this week's Transmission Talk is all about—understanding the signs, staying ahead of maintenance, and replacing guesswork with clear answers.

Kids, grandkids, family, friends… whoever’s along for the ride, you want to feel good about the vehicle carrying them.

So this week, we’re looking at the whole car — tires, steering, suspension, and those little changes behind the wheel that are worth paying attention to.

Saturday Spotlight: Faces Behind the Fixes 🔧

This week’s featured expert is Matt, one of our Service Advisors here at Lee Myles! 👋

With 20 years in the automotive industry and six years as a Service Advisor, Matt has built his career around something pretty simple: helping people. He originally got into automotive because he wanted to learn a skill that would allow him to help his friends and family, and that same mindset has stuck with him throughout his career.

Matt believes in doing the right thing, leading with integrity, and helping people understand what their vehicle needs — values that have stuck with him throughout his career.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys fishing, putting his 2001 Chevy 2500 HD to use for some good old-fashioned “truck stuff,” and spending time with his family.

We’re glad to have Matt and his experience as part of the Lee Myles team!

Your car pulls to one side. 🔎

Alignment? Tires? Brakes?

Naturally, Gabby's first solution was a trench coat and magnifying glass.

Mark has a slightly more reliable method. 😂 This week, we're looking at how your tires, brakes, and alignment work together — and why one weird feeling behind the wheel doesn't always point to one obvious answer.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Lee Myles!

Today, we’re putting down the wrenches and stepping away from the repair bays for a well-earned day off. Our team works hard all year to keep Berks County moving, and today we’re taking some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the people and things that matter most.

All Lee Myles locations are CLOSED today, Monday, September 7th. We’ll be back tomorrow and ready to get back to keeping you safely on the road.

Enjoy your Labor Day, Berks County!
